My great-grandmother, Frances Milbre “Fanny” Pate Rhodes, was living with a Mrs. Holmes in Warren, Tx for a time. She had moved there when she and the children, (my grandmother, Bessie Agnes & brother Henry Howard, Jr.)
I have made every effort to be as accurate as possible. Names are as I found them in the index.

Most of these early graves are unmarked. Riley & Sarah Peebles’ home was a little ways behind where the cemetery is today.
As a bit of background: John Dobkins came from the Rhine Valley (I believe), with Jost Hite in the 1700s. They came through Pennsylvania and settled on part of Jost’s land grant in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, about 1746. Somewhere I have a picture of the Dobkins house in Winchester, Virginia; and perhaps my sister has this on her computer.

Nathalee Barclay was born on 18 Feb 1910 in Tyler County, TX. She died on 18 Oct 1957 in Houston, Harris County, TX. The cause of death was ovarian cancer. She was buried on 19 Oct 1957 in Beech Creek Cemetery, Tyler County, TX.
I have not personally confirmed this but according to the work of Mary E. Carr, the parents of Robert T. Joplin are Elihu Joplin and Sarah Horn. Mary also gives Dorcas Briant as Robert’s wife. See Here for Mary’s excellent research.
