As I research the records of my lineages, I collect information I find interesting. Hopefully it will be of interest to others as well.
There has been much discussion over James’ middle name. Is it Irwin, Irving or Erwin? I believe it to be Irvin or Irwin due to the name in the second generation and to several historical records such as Census and the Death Record of Green Price, which lists the parents as “Irvin Collinsworth & Nancy Kilgore.)
I took the headstone photo, the photo of Jep is a family photo and the Obits were my grandmother’s, cut from the Beaumont Enterprise.
Jesse remarried after Celia Dover passed away (abt 1850), to Nancy Ann Brown and had two other children, Susan & Tom Cross.
