Texas History Hunter

My father graduated from Beaumont High 1946. My brother & I went to Beaumont High in the 70’s. Other than having more trees, the school had not changed very much.

Some many years later, the high schools in the area were merged and Beaumont High became “Central High”, a predominately minority high school. It saddens me when I drive by this once beautiful school, named for the town, and view what it has become today.
